Let's work together!

That's the message from the son, who is the new Singapore PM. To me, it sounds like admission that he still needs help from old Lee and former PM Goh to run the government.

Hope that the new PM does not do anything stupid again (like visiting Taiwan recently), assuming that his advisors are able to stop him in time, each time that he has "ideas in his head' to do something new or different. I still do not buy his lame explanation of the reasons for his
visit to Taiwan, and I believe neither does China. Everyone knows that Singapore is now a puppet of the USA in foreign affairs, and that could be the real reason for the visit to Taiwan.

The Dragon Prince is now finally ensconced on the throne tonight, after having to wait around for 14 years. He holds the record for the longest serving deputy PM, and now the highest paid Prime Minister in the world. It says alot for the government's confidence in the new PM, in order to have 2 former PMs still in the cabinet to hold his hand while he is in office. I suppose any fool can probably be head of the government with 2 advisors always around showing him the way and with 14 years apprenticeship learning the ropes on the job.

Do not really understand the role of the new SM and old Lee as MM, if the Dragon Prince is supposed to be ready for the job as PM. The need to be cost effective and to work within a reasonable budget does not seem to be important when it comes to forming a government and having a new PM together with his 2 advisors around all the time. In effect, it will cost at least S$5 to S$6 million dollars each year (assuming that none of the former PMs took a pay cut) of the tax payers hard earned money just to pay for these 3 guys, when one PM worth his salt could have done the job for one third of the price or very much less.

The question that also needs to be asked is, who will actually be running Singapore from today onwards? Is it the Father, the son or the holy Goh? I wonder why those old guys just do not want to retire from the job and let the young people run the government!
