Anna Kournikova is in the news again. This time because of her back injury, and while preparing for Wimbledon. She has not been playing WTA tennis for 2 months because of this injury, and looks like Anna will not be able to take part in Wimbledon as well.

The French Open Tennis finals are over at last, and the first-time winners in the mens and ladies singles are Ferrero and Justine Henin respectively. They both had resounding wins over their opponents in straight sets.

At least Kim Clijsters had a consolation from her singles final defeat by Justine, by winning the ladies doubles finals partnered with Ai Sujiyama. It was also Kim's birthday on Sunday, so the doubles title and the prize money from the win was a good present for her as well.
