Unbelievable ladies semis in the French Open tennis tonight. With Serena Williams defeated by Justine Henin by 2 sets to 1, its an all Belgian ladies final!

Ferrero and Albert Costa are thru to the semis in the
French Open. Perhaps Costa can repeat his performance last year and be the men's singles tennis champion once more.
More pictures of Russian tennis babes and other women that I found from the internet. However, only Nadia Petrova (last picture at the bottom right) is still in the French Open women's tennis competition; although she will have a tough time against Kim Clijsters in the semis today.

Do not think Pam plays tennis. Probably a little too top heavy for the game, if you ask me. For the rest I shall leave to your fertile imagination.

Agassi is out of the
French Open, because the young
Guillermo Coria from Argentina was too much for him. I think it will be either all Spanish or South Americans in the men's singles tennis finals. The question is of course, will Moya be able to knock out Verkerk (match is still in progress in the 5th set) to be able to advance to the semi-finals?
The women's singles tennis
semi-finals draw is known, and I wonder if it will be a Belgian or the Russian in the finals meeting Serena Williams? Of course there is always the chance of 2 Belgians (Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin) in the finals!

Nangka - you mean the jackfruit? who so going to Japan...
Anna maybe to many modelling contracts and busy making money...
Ha ha ha, this one tickled my funny-bone. I just saw in the news weather report today that tropical storm "Nangka" is moving towards Japan from the south.
Looks like in future we'll have tropical storms named after other fruits such as banana, watermelon, coconut, papaya, pineapple, chiku, duku, mangosteen, durian and rambutan. Just imagine being hit by durians, coconuts and papayas, or having to deal with excess of rambutans or bananas in a storm that is named after one of these fruits.
I have been watching alot of the
French Open Tennis on the TV sports channel recently. The tournament is more than mid-way thru with the players moving into the quarters (QF) soon, and the finals in 5 days time. The Russian women are making a big appearance this year sans Kournikova. There is a new crop of fresh young faces from Russia who are knocking out the seeds. Either
Nadia Petrova or
Vera Zvonareva should be able to give a good match to
Serena Williams when either one of them gets to meet her in the finals.
Coming back to the subject of
Anna Kournikova who did not take part this year in the French, I think she suffers from bad press because of her popularity in the looks department. She's not too bad a tennis player really. Although she has not done too well in singles competition recently, she has won a Grand Slam tennis doubles championship (Australian Open, 1999) and has been ranked in the top 10 singles in 2000 and doubles in 1999 and 2000. I think most guys would just be greatly entertained by watching a sweet young thing like Anna, Nadia or Vera bouncing around the tennis court, and would not be too concerned whether they won or lost the match.
picture of Anna from her websiteIn the men's tennis game, looks like the "old American guy"
(Agassi) will have some good competition against either one of the
Spanish or South American players when they meet in the French finals.
